Lance understood sex, it was pure and simple, and so was his new contract, until Tobias had to go and make things complicated.
Lance has never known love, and he scoffs at its existence. The only thing that matters to him is security, and that's why he makes contracts with wealthy men. They keep him in luxury and he fulfils their hearts desire. Lance is presently in need of a new client, and he sets his sights on the billionaire, Jackson Scott. And all goes smoothly until Jackson's personal assistant, the enigmatic Tobias Naso, decides to throw a wrench into the wheel. Tobias would leave Jackson's employment in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the fact that he is helping his sister to support their grandmother in a very expensive care facility. Jackson is demanding and possessive and Tobias hardly has a life. Lance Cooper is just another thorn in his side, a scheming con man after Jackson's fortune. He makes it plain to Lance from the beginning that he doesn't approve, but when Jackson insists Tobias join them for a little recreational activity in the bedroom, things really start to get complicated.
"Got a cigarette?" someone asked him suddenly.
Tobias turned around to see a man standing beside him, dressed fashionably in black dress pants and an open necked red shirt. He was quite stunning to look at and gave him the faintest of smiles, as if he knew how irresistible he was. "Sorry, I gave it up," Tobias tried not to give him the once over, but it was damn tempting.
"Me, too." He laughed. "You just saved me a lot of money in stop smoking aids, for the twentieth time."
"Glad to be of help." He really did want to be alone. God knows he didn't get much opportunity with Jackson. But this guy was just too beautiful for words.
"You're Tobias Naso."
Tobias lifted an eyebrow. "You know me?"
"I know Distractions. I have almost the entire line. You were one of the reasons I wanted all the clothes."
He laughed. "Guess I earned my money then. And it's Diversions."
"Yeah, that's it, sorry." He laughed. "You don't model anymore?"
"You could," he made no pretence of looking him up and down. "You have gorgeous tone."
"Thanks," he cleared his throat. If Jackson hadn't been in the suite, he might have invited this guy upstairs for a little…but he couldn't, another reason why he needed to find another job soon. "So you know my name, what's yours?"
"Lance, Lance Cooper."
"Nice to meet you, Lance," he reached out and shook his hand. "You staying at the hotel?"
"I'm here for the Gala."
"Really? What kind of business are you in?"
"I'm self-employed, an artist. I paint."
"Oh, what do you paint?"
"Beautiful men," he said, looking right at him. "Would you be interested in sitting for me sometime, Tobias?"
"Sure, if I have time. I move around quite a bit." Tobias smiled. "And, call me Toby. Everyone else does."
"Okay, Toby. So, what do you do?"
"I'm Jackson Scott's personal assistant."
"Ah, is that so? So Mr. Scott is staying at the hotel?"
"Yes. He's getting an award for business. What's your interest in the Gala?"
"To tell you the truth," Lance Cooper leaned his head closer, "I'm just smoozing."
"Yeah, hobnobbing, trying to get people interested in my art, the right people."
"Ah." But that still didn't make a lot of sense to Tobias, but then again, he knew nothing about art, except for having visited a few galleries.
"Well, guess I'll catch you later, Tobias," he gave him a dazzling smile.
"Yeah, later, nice to have met you, Lance," his gaze trailed down to his ass in those tight black pants as he walked back inside the hotel. He unconsciously licked his lips. Luscious. And Tobias suddenly had a graphic image of them both being naked and him punishing that ass of his with his cock. Wow, that was some kind of lustful urge. It left him breathless, not to mention, horny.
