This book was previously published as Virtus, The Sex but has been completely revised and doubled in size with the addition of many new scenes.

When Prince Duncan Caldwell loses his way home and knocks on a stranger’s door, looking to find shelter, he doesn’t know his life is about to change forever. Not because he can’t tear his gaze away from the beautiful woman who opens that door, but more so because she’s a stranger yet he can’t shake the feeling she belongs to him. And discovering she’s been banned from his home can’t stop the vortex of his feelings nor the truth of his world from crashing down on him.

This is just the beginning of the Virtus Saga, where nothing is as it seems. Not the world, since its all-pervading sex drive hides a scary lack of violence. Not the people, since soul mates Prince Duncan Caldwell and Lord Christopher Templeton share a love that is unrivaled until that fateful knock on Ylianor Meyer’s dilapidated shack.

This book starts the love and the passion that entwines fiery sex into this intricate three-way relationship. It’s a unique connection, laced with jealousy and violence that are unknown to their world. This is not just another erotic dark fantasy series. This is the making of a trio. Of three remarkable characters that must overcome their uncontrollable lust to face the truth about themselves and their planet if they want to defeat the darkness about to devour them. To be as one whilst three! To share power and love in equal measures. This is their real challenge, the lesson they must learn. Otherwise, how will their world survive?
“By the gods, I did miss you so fucking much.” As dawn broke, Chris’s chin dug on his chest, lying as he was on the bed belly down. “I was so mad at you I wished I never saw you again in my life.” He caressed his face lovingly. “But, boy, am I glad no god cared to listen, or I’d have missed this glorious night with all its incredible sex.” His gaze sparkled mischievously as though already reliving it.

“I’m sorry I hurt you.” Catching Chris’s hand, he squeezed it tightly. “But I needed the space to know women, and you just wouldn’t give it to me.”

“Is that why you kicked me out of Black Rose?” Chris grinned, though the hint of a pained expression crossed his arresting blue-gray eyes.

“No.” Pulling him up, he nuzzled his neck. “That was because you were too distracting, and I couldn’t resist having sex with you every time you were around.”

“I knew it was all your fault!” With a triumphant gleam, Chris straightened.

“No, it was all yours.” Tackling the man down took him no effort. “You and your goddamn insisting I had sex with you even if I made it clear I just wanted to be friends—”

“Ha! As if you and I could ever be just friends!” Chris spat. “Do you honestly think you can ever ignore me?” He grabbed his now limp piece. “That your cock won’t stiffen the moment it sees me?”

The blasted angel knew it did better than anybody else. Now more than ever, since his equipment was already turning to stone in spite of an entire night’s worth of sex.

“All right, I was wrong.” Halting the angel’s erotic up and down slides, he locked gazes with the blue-gray one. “Totally and completely.” He just had to taste Chris’s thin lips before everything that pressed on his chest burst out with the explosive force he felt brewing beneath the surface. “Because I love you, Christopher Templeton, and it has nothing to do with our fantastic sex.” At the second kiss, he pushed his tongue inside to sweep the warm cavity opening up immediately. Then he drew away for he had just skimmed the surface of the deep emotions setting him on fire. “I love you with everything I’ve got—body, mind and spirit.” He spelled out the words clearly, so Chris would have no room for misunderstanding. “There’s no way I can ever live without you, which is why I was twice as wrong in sending you away. Only I didn’t understand it at the time, because I was too busy trying to deny it.” He shook his head, long hair flying around. “But it was no use. You’re all I think about, Angel, the one thought before I close my eyes and the first when I open them again.” Crushing the lithe body to him, his lips reached Chris’s ear. “And this power you have over me leaves no room for anybody else, no matter how hard I convinced myself I’d find the right woman if I didn’t see you.”

“So it’s my fault you didn’t find her?” Chris snuggled inside his embrace, trying to hide a smug smirk.

“Yeah, it absolutely is.” Lowering his gaze, he loved the play of fire lighting the fair skin from behind. “Because I kept looking for you in every woman I met. And I met quite a few.”

“I know.” Disentangling, Chris stretched back to level their gazes, the blue-gray eyes blazing maliciously. “People at the Hall do nothing but have sex and gossip all day long, so they kept me up to date about your conquests. I hated it whenever a new woman got in the picture, but I’d rejoice when it didn’t work out.”

“You bastard!” Playfully, he faked a punch at Chris’s arm. “So it really was you.”

“Of course it was.” Laughing, the blond angel caught his fist and kissed it. “The last thing I wanted was for our phase to turn into a pledge, like it happened to so many around here.” Clasping his arm, Chris dragged himself closer. “Like with Trent, who’s a real jerk but didn’t deserve that his phase mate pledged a couple of weeks after their phase was over. And it crushed him.”

“Maybe his mom made him do it.” He chuckled. “I know how hard mine tries to get me to pledge, and she hasn’t stopped since.”

“Your mom won’t stop until you do.” Chris joined in the amusement. “She’s like most who think that a good phase should result in a hasty pledge.”

“Didn’t your mom push you in that direction, too?” Although he had seen Claire Templeton only twice in his life, he was pretty sure she would have wanted the same thing for her son.

Particularly since he was her favorite.

“My mom?” Chris smirked. “Haven’t seen her since you kicked me out of Black Rose.”

“You mean to tell me you haven’t been back home since then?” That was a surprise.

“Nope, I carefully avoided the place.” Because I was too broken up inside.

If Chris did not actually say it in so many words, he had no problem picking it up from his troubled expression.

“Just stuck to the Hall the whole time,” the stunning blond man added huskily.

“What about your father? How did you avoid him?” Settling back on his heels, he regarded his angel. “As I recall, he’s the vice-leader, so I guess he spends most of his time here, too.”

“Oh, the Hall is such a big place there’s no risk of running into each other.” A naughty smile twisted the thin lips. “Particularly if you keep different hours.”

“As different as day and night?” He was getting a clear picture of just how Chris had spent the two years of separation.
