"Just?"

"Go to hell!" Ray went to stand up, but Taj's leg crossed over his, holding him prisoner.

"You kiss me, you tease me, then you deny it. Raymond, this game you play is very dangerous."

Ray swallowed. "I'm not playing any game."

"I'm pleased to hear that. I don't like being teased in such a way." He smiled. "Teasing is an art form, Raymond. If one is teased, one should expect resolution—eventually—that's what makes it worthwhile. Your tastes are for a man. Deny it no more." Taj's gaze was stern. "Turn around."

"What?"

"Turn around, heart-of-mine. Purrrrrr."

"You called me that once before."

"This is different. Then I called you that as a friend. Now, I've added the purr. It means intimacy, a promise of things to come." His gaze heated. "Come being the operative word. I'm not going to hurt you, Raymond, but it's time for us to deal with this. At least, let me give you release, as a friend, soon to be lover."
