Kathy Kalmar

Kathy Kalmar, born in Detroit, Michigan, lives with Larry, her husband of four-plus decades. Lately, she has recovered from her former bad- country- song-like- life because her Smoky Mountain Tops Round House is now rebuilt from the 2016 Chimney Tops II Wildfire. Her settings are so important to her work that she treats them like characters. Crazy about Cape Cod, Waikiki, and the Great Smokey Mountains- spending as much time there as she can - she resorts to writing about them when she isn't. She loves her Writing Room with a view in which she is busy writing her next book.

Her current residence is enlarged by four feet with the addition of their new puppy -if a four-year-old still counts as a puppy. She loves to read and write contemporary romance novels. Meanwhile, she remains fond of strolling through nature's treasure box, hot rubbing, consuming chocolate, and sipping Cranberry wine, mai tais, and moonshine at home, Waikiki, Cape Cod, or Tennessee.
