I always wondered what it was like to write a book. Back in 1990, I decided to find out while recovering from surgery. After writing three chapters, I want back and finished my naval career. Another eight years after I retired, I finally picked it back up. Technology had changed drastically by 2009, not to mention, me. I was able to redirect and expand the story. After finishing my 140,000 word monstrosity, I was hooked. But my amazement was yet to come. I came up with a romance novel, a genre I never expected to write in. Extasy decided it was a good choice for me, picking up the novel after only reading five chapters! Since then, I completed two more stories centering around the same town, turning the novels into what I call my "Heart" series. The book I set aside to write Straight from the Heart has now been finished. Beware of Those You Mourn became my second longest story to date. It's a paranormal good vs evil with romance thrown in for good measure. I've also got an inspirational story in Devine Destinies.
