When young witch Petra learns of witch Agatha's evil plan to destroy the villagers of Zell, she vows to stop her, but Agatha overpowers Petra and uses her deadly potion against Petra's two lovers, warlocks Jerr and Fen. Leaving Petra incapacitated and her lovers transformed, Agatha prepares to put her plan into action. The villagers of Zell are celebrating the harvest, feasting and making merry in the streets, unaware of the terrible fate lying ahead. The bewitching hour draws near, Agatha's powers gain strength, but Petra and the transformed warlocks have joined forces to help each other.
