Serena Hudson had just been dumped at the altar. And that's a really good piece of luck, because she's just escaped an arranged marriage to an idiot. And then she realizes she's about to consummate the moment anyway--with the chauffeur in the back seat of the limo!

She was wearing her wedding gown.

Sixteen yards in the skirt, a monstrous, bell-shaped thing heavy with beads and embroidery and Alencon lace, the dress was more than Serena Hudson had been able to afford. A whole heck of a lot more, just like the vintage Bentley limousine and the eight-tiered European-style cake were more than she’d been able to afford.

But Rufo’s mother had insisted. She’d said such things ‘would only be adequate’ for an occasion as august as her youngest and most darling son’s wedding to a hairstylist from the wrong, wrong, wrong side of the tracks.

Of course Rufo’s mom hadn’t had to pay for any of it, either.

Which was why Serena was so damned determined to get some kind of practical use out of the car that had been just about the only tasteful and truly elegant part of a wedding that seemed to have been designed in hell.

Which was why she lay sprawled across the rear seat right now in her seventeen-hundred-dollar gown with one beaded pump slung up onto the rear deck, the other splayed out at an improbable angle across the floor, and a strange man’s hand groping insistently at the area between her garters.
