Their lives have become entwined as their friendships and family ties grow stronger. Revisit the love that has been found and cultivated between the six ménage, bi-sexual couples since the onset of this biker/shifter adventure.

The national shifters of Brice estates are trying to prepare themselves as a category five hurricane streaks up the east coast.
Mirra, Ramiel, and Hayyel take the children on an RV road trip to get them out of danger. It may not be as safe as they intended as the wrath of the archangels is bestowed upon both human and national kind.

Severe, deadly storms are popping up around the globe as the remaining nationals scramble to finish the no kill shelter before the hurricane hits. Not only will the shelter give refuge to the animals that will be left behind, it also has been built above code to serve as a place for the five couples to hole up.

As the killer winds and flooding rain rages around them, the question remains.

Can they all survive the storm and the destruction it brings with it?

Mirra tiptoed into the bedroom, trying to shut the door without it rattling on the hinges. She had wanted to finish her book, but had stayed up far too late doing so. The bedroom was pitch black, but she’d already noted that Ramiel and Hayyel were curled up together. That left her on the outs to sleep on the very edge of the bed without any blankets.

Sliding in carefully beside Ramiel, she tried to get a corner of the blanket for herself. If she fell asleep with her feet and ankles bare, the air conditioning would cause cramps and she’d wake up in agony. Managing to wiggle her legs under the comforter, she shifted back to get some warmth from Ramiel. He rolled over, wrapping his arm around her and pulling her closer.

“What time is it?”

“About one.”

“Why did you stay up so late?”

“I wanted to finish my book.”

“Was it worth it?”

She chuckled softly. “It was actually really good.”

“Did it have sex?” he teased.

“It did. Very hot and descriptive sex.”

“Yummy.” His hand slipped down her side and he slid it between the folds of her cunt. “I see it left you very wet.”

She hadn’t actually been aware of that. It was a purely physical reaction, although she didn’t feel particularly aroused. “Did it? I must have been hoping that you and Hayyel were still awake.”

He laughed, his muscular chest shifting against her back. “What a perfect reply that was. Do you honestly want to fool around? I figured you’d be exhausted.”

“I’m a little tired. It has been a long three and a half weeks. I can’t believe we finished the shelter. We had so much help erecting the building it was stunning. Those guys who came in to do the brick work were amazing. With the storms that are supposed to be heading our way, it’s probably a good thing Gaz paid extra to have the structure built above code. Do you really think they’ll actually hit us?”

“I hope not. This one’s been doing a lot of damage as it veered into Miami. It’s also picking up speed rather than slowing down. You know we can pack up and run. It might actually be our best bet.”

Mirra’s shoulders sagged as she turned to look at him. “I agree in a way, but I also hate to feel as if I’m deserting our family here. Do you think they’ll go with us?”

“I doubt it. Gaz won’t leave his home, and I don’t think anyone else will either. Char and Jeremiel just finished the house. I’m also torn about what to do, but we have to decide fast. Hayyel and I were discussing it before we fell asleep. I would actually like to head west and maybe pick a safe place to meet up with my sons. They have no clue if the storm will continued up into Mass, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. We also have to consider that if a storm of the magnitude they are talking hits here, chances are we might lose the RV to it.”

“I’ve considered that also.”

Hayyel sat up. “Now that you have me awake, we should really make a final call on this. I think we need to get out of here while the roads are still clear enough to travel. If there’s a mass panic at the last minute and we aren’t well on our way, we’ll be stuck in it.”

She felt somewhat guilty for bailing on Gaz and the family, but the shelter was almost done, and they really wouldn’t be missed. There was no reason that the others couldn’t pack up and leave also. “Okay. My vote is that we leave in the morning.”

Ramiel nodded. “Mine also. We can’t risk losing the RV and putting our lives in danger. We can talk to Gaz and Trina in the morning and tell them. Maybe they’ll join us.”

“I agree, but they probably won’t,” said Hayyel. “It means they would lose time that they need to finish up the inside of the shelter house before the grand opening in a week and a half. There really isn’t much we can do now to help, but I know Gaz and Trina have been working closely with the crew to figure out the exact designs for the interior. There’s also the matter of finishing up the cat area and getting some outside cages set up for the dogs. I know they have a crew coming in tomorrow to start work on the fencing.”
