Cathrine Amadoro was born in Portugal in 1967. She and her parents moved to Europe in the 1970s. After her first marriage which ended early, Cathrine spent many years working fulltime in the IT industry. She currently lives in a suburb of London with her second husband and one child, and writes fiction in her spare time. Among her other hobbies are reading, puzzles, games, bicycling and exploring British outdoor mazes.
“I see the maze as a metaphor for life,” she explains. “We are all in a sense lost in the world, trying to find our way, trying to find the person who will make us complete, and this outlook on life probably shows in the stories I write.”
